Dirk-Jan Baas

Dirk-Jan Baas, Founder of Smart4Aviation, visionary, aviation veteran, spent all his life in aviation. He worked in the Royal Netherlands Air Force – Air Traffic Control Department for 6 years as an ATM specialist. Joined Martinair in 1986 and spent almost 25 years in airline operations, working at the OCC crew- and dispatch departments.

Founded the Smart4Aviation company in 2010 with the aim to deliver cost-effective, sustainable, and aviation industry-leading operational efficiency solutions.

The main focus currently on third-party relationships.
